prayers turn into praise
Submitted by: Sis. Tammy Rogers | I would like to thank all of those who have been praying for me. It has been about six weeks when I first got sick. I went to the doctor and they said I had congestive heart failure I got prayed for and all of my test have been coming back normal. I started having severe crampning in my legs. I was missing church and work and it was painful to even have something touch my legs. I was on some medication trying to ease some of this. I got out of bed last Sunday and I was having trouble walking. I told myself that I was going to go to church and if my problem was not going to leave it would just have to go with me. I went to Sunday School and to the evening service. I got prayed for and God told me to get up and walk. I walked three time around half of the church. My legs did not hurt and that was the first time in about six weeks that I have not had any pain in my claves while walking. I have not had any cramping in my legs this week. I have worked my regular schedule this week and went to church on Wednesday night. Bro. Puckett had a message titled when your prayers turn into praise. I am blessed to have a praying church and I am a witness that Jesus is still in the healing business. I give Jesus all the praise because without him where would I be. | 07-17-2008 |

Some of those that I see many turn their noses up to others when they see them out with their significant others. I am so glad to be able to serve the lord jesus christ. I love praising him and magnifing his holy name not just twice a week but every day. and sometimes I praise him all day Once we repent of our sins get babtized in his name get filled with the holy ghost thats the beginning of a new birth. and I have to continue to keep jesus as close to me and not let him go. I praise him for chosing me and my strength, he is my rock to lean on I praise him in the morning and till the time I lay my head down to sleep. When I got a new bloodline flowing through my body I have never been the same. I thank and I praise god for that precious blood he shed for all of us that day on calvary. Submitted by: Karen | Sometimes we can forget how awsome and powerful God really is ,or sometimes we really do know how awsome and powerful God is but we just need a reminder.I just wanted to report on a woman the church had prayed for around October 2007, her name is Mrs Shirley Estess. Mrs Estess went into the hospital for a simple hernia operation and all seemed well ,but within a few days her health began to seriously deteriorate. The Drs.had accidently perforated her bowel and this caused an infection that consumed her body. The Dr's called the family in on several different occasions in order for the family to say their last goodbyes, but by the grace of God and the prayers that you prayed ,God helped her through each of those trying times. Mrs Estess was finally able to go home in April. Her health is continuing to improve and as of yesterday she underwent reconstructive surgery and she is doing well. I just wanted to say thank you for praying for this woman. The blessing I recieved from this is that even though the original prayer request is no longer listed on here because it was so long ago God remembered your prayers AND even though sometimes when we pray for something and God doesn't answer it maybe at the time we may want him to or the way we want him to ,He never forgets what we ask him in prayer. | 06-05-2008 |

She went to the doctor today and her fluid levels are still not good. Her blood pressure is still elavated and she has some other issues with her lab work. They are seeing her again on Monday and if things have not improved they will make a decision about taking the baby, she is in her 34th week and they say the baby weighs around 5ilbs. They say that the baby is doing fine at this point. They removed the tumor from the brain stem and it was non cancerous. She still has the two small tumrors on top of the brain she will have chemo to try to shrink these is size. They cannot explain why the one was not cancerous they have set up a special research team to try to figure this out because it is rare for this kind of tumor to be non-cancerous. All I can say is the head of the research has been appointed and his name is Jesus. Emma is already home and doing well. | 04-08-2008 |
